DIOR Cruise Parade 2026
Presented in the lush gardens of the Albani Torlonia Villa, the Dior Cruise Parade 2026 seamlessly blends haute couture with ready-to-wear creations. Capturing the elegance and vision of the show, these exclusive photos by photographer Alejandra Loaiza offer a rare glimpse into Dior’s latest collection.
The set consists of metaphorical pieces; the clothing elements of the history of fashion and costume merging with a contemporary syntax.
The vests, from the men's wardrobe and sometimes with lapels, are accompanied by long loose skirts matched by magpie-tail jackets. The dresses are in very fine lace or contrasting with bas-relief patterns.
Military jackets have black edges, just like buttons. Some dresses evoke chasubles.
Breaking the sequence of whites, the black and red of the velvet of the short dresses pay tribute to the Fontana Sisters who dressed Anita Ekberg in particular in the iconic Dolce Vita. The golden velvet sublimates an absolute dress.
The parade appears like a farandole where the elements exist together and separately. The creative vision is organized around white, declined on a plurality of materials, from the densest to the lightest.
This is how Maria Grazia Chiuri recomposes in her own way the characters, landscapes, stories and mythologies of Rome, her hometown. In a thought that favors questioning and daydreaming, poetic intuition and magical realism, to define a new network of stellar affinities.
