Postcards from the Isthmus.

Postcard #3:

“They say that death calls death, and I believe that's where the real battle for life begins.”

“When someone dies in my town the first thing we do is ring the town bell, that's when everyone knows that someone's gone, but it's not until the family takes over the public megaphone that we find out who. When someone dies, we all worry because anyone could be next, because here, right after someone dies, someone else is gone...it really doesn't take that long.

Everyone knows it's going to happen, but no one says anything, we just wait.”
